Buy Carbide Inserts
No material is ever perfect and with carbide you will find that they are prone to chipping due to them being brittle. However you will also find that a number of manufacturers sell carbide inserts along with matching insert holders. Now with this you have the carbide insert held in blace by a bigger tool often made from steel. So therefore you get the benefit of carbide but you don't need to have the entire tool made out of it which would be expensive. You will find that the majority of face mills have carbide inserts but end mills and lathe tools can have them too.
